Butt, butt, butt, I thought all the recent mocks had ETN

not going until the second round? Sounds like another blanket is fanning another fire in the silly pre-draft smoke screen season. This stuff is actually funny if you look at it as pure unwritten humor.

When CJ went to Buffalo, I think all that cold weather really messed with his hamstrings and he never fully recovered to have the career that we all thought he may have had.

Buffalo is now a good team. Yes, it's cold, but many of the NFL teams play in cold climates.

If you didn't grow up in an urban area its a great place to play. Josh Allen loves it here. Many of the Old Bills like Thurman Thomas and Bruce Smith and Jim Kelly made their permanent homes here.

There have been plenty of great RB careers in Buffalo. The team Spiller went to was nowhere close offensively to what Buffalo has now. They are a stacked, dynamic, Super Bowl contender.

The Bills never had the line to block & mainly air mailed when they were going to him because they lacked skill positions teams could double him when he ran routes out of the backfield. He was wasted for sure!

As long as he's a 1st round pick I'll be happy. Show ETN the $$$!

great seasons (1,000+ yards). OJ Simpson had a HOF career in Buffalo (70s). Fred Jackson (2010s) had a great career in Buffalo.
The Bills will contend for the AFC again this season. Etienne will have a much longer and better career in Buffalo than with Jets or Jags, which are in both full rebuild mode. Steelers are on the edge of having to rebuild.

I'm in Buffalo. There's a lot of talk about the Bills drafting him here. Nobody argues that he won't give the Bills the home run hitter they lack, but many believe "a running back is not good value in the first round." He is if your window of opportunity to win a Super Bowl is open right now.
However, I think the Bills will stay put. If he is there they will take him. If not they will pick defense, which they could use at all three levels.

That would make a lot more sense.

Moving up in the first round is expensive. Even if it's only from 30 to like 23 that will probably cost a 3rd round pick. I think i would rather have the #2 RB on my board plus a 3rd round pick than the #1 RB on my board.

The NFL is a different game, as CJ Spiller will tell you, but #9 has all the tools to be a great back for years to come if he stays healthy.
