Our current slide coincided with a meteoric rise in the rankings and maybe
it got to our heads a bit. Maybe we'll be better at #21ish for a couple of weeks
than we were at # 16.

When the three isn't falling, and you're holding steady getting inside while getting the other team in foul trouble, don't shoot 18 threes early in the shot clock and give the other team more possessions.

I agree, when they got their just due in the rankings, it seems like they don't feel like playing as hard as another team with equal talent to prove they're better...

Yeah, what kg said. I'm a bit surprised scar isn't getting more love... pretty good win over miss st. But their schedule is a bit weak. Either way, we beat a good team.
I'm miffed that some on here posted they'd think we'd drop more. We're a good team. Not many teams will go 1-18 from 3pt land and even be close to unc. I know, if... but had we been a paltry 3/15 (at the time) with 5 to play, we'd have been up 59-55 and all the pressure on unc. No doubt in my mind, we'd have gone on and won.

IMO, I don't think our team uses the shot clock very well or to their advantage. Unless one of our high average 3 point shooters has a wide open 3 point shot with 20-25 seconds on the shot clock, please don't shoot. Pass the ball around until somebody can get an open look for a 2 point or a 3 point shot and stop throwing the ball up with lots of time on the shot clock. The guys that don't shoot that well, please stop throwing the ball up hoping for a made basket!!!!
