Time will tell but what do we truly have in Klubnik?

We have been spoiled with some transcendent QB’s the last decade but what do we truly have in CK?
He had two starts against 2 pretty terrible defenses. UNC he looked great, Tennessee he looked pedestrian IMO. A lot of yards but #### near threw the ball 60 times and couldn’t get us in the end zone for anything.
Maybe it’s the unfair downside of having a Trevor and Deshaun elevating our expectations but he just didn’t seem in the same galaxy as those guys to me.
CFB is all about QB play.

especially vs national journalism expectations. Is he TL16 or DW4? No. Not at this time. Maybe not ever. But I will take a close number 3. And I like his high school pedigree, and the fact CK2 has better OC coaching than DW4 or TL16. Natl Coach of the Year Garrett Riley + Consultant The Chad. Again, I'm buying. Go Tigers!

Not enough data. Hoping he is better than Kelly but I haven’t seen anything to indicate he’s even close to TL or Deshaun. But they were pretty freaking awesome. Like you said, time will tell.

I can't help but believe he's at least as good as the QB that took TCU to the National Championship game.

And the UGA QB. But he did have an arsenal of weapons at his disposal. My gear is if Cade goes down. We will be in serious trouble.

Duggan was a highly rated 4☆ dual threat coming out of hs, very athletic & abnormally fast for a white QB, even for a dual threat—

An fierce competitor and a winner. He has the one thing that will make the difference. He is super accurate. I'm encouraged that this team has been putting in the extra effort in their spare time. That's the one thing I was hoping would occur for this team to be special. It appears they're more than aware of that and have committed to making it happen. We got us a quarterback fellas

Yep accuracy and serious wheels with better/quicker decision making than the last guy. The only drawback I have seen is the panick backwards scramble that costs huge losses. All you have to do is teach him to throw it away sooner and fight another down or series. He throws his deep ball with crazy arc for some reason but it seems to come down much closer to a receiver than you would think.

Do you regret DW and TL first starts? They were not good and not against teams good enough to be in the ACCCG or Orange Bowl. Give the kids a chance.

DW’s first start was a 6TD performance I highly doubt we’ll see Cade throw 6TDs in a game. Hope I’m wrong, but from what I’ve seen so far, highly doubt it.

Here's my take. People probably aren't going to like it, but its nonetheless my opinion. Klubnik, even when evaluating him in HS, looks to me like a starter quality, playoff bound capable QB, who could throw for maybe 3500 yards, something like 35 TDs and maybe 8 picks. Really good. Just not playoff winning, first round draft pick good. I don't see quick recognition of defenses and decision making and premier product placement on throws (good, just not premiere). I think more like a little better Tajh Boyd. Just not Deshaun or Trevor. The problem is DJ was so freaking bad at times it makes Klubnik look superhuman the second he completes a pass. I hope I'm way off and he's the best I've ever seen, thats just what I see.

Time is on his side, he’s an incredible leader who makes

He makes decisions quickly and does it with confidence that it will be a good throw and decision. The difference between he and DJ are night and day. He might be the best QB we have ever had because of his ability to communicate, encourage and lead before it’s said and done.
He has the drive Deshaun had to be great, Trevor was at the highest ability level and big time college QB ready as any QB that has ever played. Trevor was awesome but not as good of a leader right out of the gate that Cade is, it’s so natural for him.
I predict this post will not be good for you 3 years from now, especially if your a coot because y’all will need another coach by then.
Cade is a winner at the highest of levels & his ceiling is very high because he has It. We saw “it” during the ACC Championship game, at that point he had never started a game.
We moved the ball all over the place against Tennessee and looked like the best offense on the field we just could not get the ball in the end zone. Our WR’s being injured and out left us in a bad way needing weapons in the red zone.
We abandoned the run, in the red zone, also everyone in the stadium knew we were going to pass. That’s why we have a new Coordinator!

We're you talking to me with that comment? If you were, I thought the whole "I hope I'm wrong and he's the best I've ever seen" comment at the end kinda showed what I'm hoping will happen. Never been called a coot before. That's funny. I'm just calling it like I see it. It's funny to me how unless you say someone is the best ever, that somehow means you're not a fan or you're saying they suck. Like Tyler Davis is great. Is he Lawrence or Wilkins? I don't think so. Is Deon Cain Nuke Hopkins? No. Little nuance guys.

He's a keeper. He has heart, desire, and a will to win. You can't coach these things.

We'll see in about 36 days. Be patient and let both he and the rest of the offense get comfortable with the new offense and coaches. He has 3 years to show us what he's got. Go Tigers!!!
