New changes coming down the pike include:
1. Charter/Private schools can not be barred from public school regions (not a big change there)
2. A creation of a high school NIL
and 3. There's a high school version of a transfer portal. There are two time frames each year where a student can transfer to any other school with no penalty once during their high school career.

Kids don't have to have legal residence in school zone anymore? I know folks have put up mailboxes on dirt roads to make that work, but has the rule gone away entirely?

And have them beat the chit out of 80% of their scheduled opponents because skills are most improved in non-competitive game environments. Also super competitive parents get off on watching junior dominate an outclassed opponent. It makes it fun for all!

I guess I always viewed it as a requirement I had to get through in order to get on with life. There's just no way I would ever pay a teenager to play a HS sport. Donate to a HS Booster club to help out with buying uniforms or equipment - maybe - but actually paying the HS athlete...never.
Oh well - I guess there are people who are as emotionally attached to a particular HS as I am to Clemson even though I'm keeping my donations strictly to the IPTAY side of the equation.
