It's the diversity that makes it a great place to be when you are on the toilet, or in a boring meeting, or driving I 26, etc. I imagine that 98% of TNetters are fat white men, but the similarities end there.
You have the pumpers and dumpers. The joksters and those with ZERO sense of humor. The quick witted and tokers.
But most of all, it's the generational span that make TNet great. You got the old codgers that brag about 6 loss seasons like they survived D-Day or have fond memories of baking a potato for 6 hrs. Then you got the young 'uns that have the attention span of a gnat. The Millennials, Ys, and Z's that think Dabo should be fired (not for losing two winnable games, but 'cause he wore a "Football Matters" T-Shirt).
Alas, it is the gen X's that are the glue that holds them all together. Enough humility in the late 80's and 90's to appreciate 10 win seasons, but expect more results than those that suffered through the great depression; and without the knee-jerkiness of those that see the world only through their cell phone.

When I first joined here I was only 18. I figured it would mainly be young people, being the internet and all. I was surprised to see so many people in their 40s 50s and older.

The trolls have ran off so many posters and have gotten crump and Bmeist to ban so many posters, they no longer have people to troll. The Tigernet message boards are mostly dead nowadays.
