Ticket resale

I seem to be having a hard time reselling my tickets at market value through IPTAY/Ticketmaster. Is anyone else having this issue?

What is “market value”? A lot of people wait until the last minute to pick up really cheap seats. Your “market value” seats will probably go unsold.

I’m actually pricing them below similar tickets on StubHub.

Market value has pretty much out priced the millennials like myself. I got a family of 6 it's well over 500 dollars just in tickets if we want to go to a game not to mention parking, food, concessions, memorabilia ect.

Tickets are just unreasonable now. It baffles me that yall are still paying those prices. Can't hide money!

You can get tix for under $25 (including fees) for the UNC game right now. That family of 6 can attend for $150. Not “well over $500”.

That’s not unreasonable.

It baffles me how Ticketmaster has been able to operate such a monopoly. I've never seen organized corruption like this. With all our technology disruption, there has never been a company able to defeat Ticketmaster and win. My own safety is at risk for mentioning this. If I have a $50 ticket, I should be able to sell it to your $50 with minimal fees. I'm praying for a blockchain start-up to fix this one day for our children's children.

1. There are a lot of ticket resale sites. (Stub hub, seat geek, etc) There goes the monopoly argument.

2. If you list a ticket for $50 on Ticketmaster, the fees are $2.65. Not unreasonable at all considering you are using their site. If you want to sell your tickets without fees, make your own website (or sell on sites like TNet).
