Ticho

Sep 6, 2022, 12:06 PM

It was awesome to see the team gather and catch up with Paul Ticho after the game. Lots of love for him but I am sure they were giving him some joshing for transferring and not even making the starting lineup.

Dabo has been spot on with everything going on in college football... especially the transfer portal.

I thought he did start. He played quite a bit in any event and seemed to play well when I watched him.

He didn't start at RG. Was listed as the starter, but 67 ran out first (Ticho is 57). What I saw, he only played the second drive of the first quarter. Will look for the player participation chart when it is released.

Maybe he left because fans didn't know his name: It's TCHIO***

That could be it... Thank you for the correction. Taisun Phommachanh is also on the roster that left for a starting job. In all honesty, I cut and pasted TPs name so I would not butcher it like I did Tchio's...

We all can get better and I'm trying.

I did think it was cool to see the Clemson players getting together with their former teammate. It reminded me of the picture of Travis Etienne and Tavien Feaster exchanging jerseys after Feaster went south, and the story about several Clemson players going to visit Kelly Bryant after he transferred to Missouri. It reinforces the idea that Clemson players are good people who care about each other, even when circumstances change.

100%... these young men don't care about that stuff we get all worked up about. Truly shows all the noise fans make isn't important to the people that are in the building.

As much as I hate that we lost last year to UGA, I am so happy for DK being the first college player to ever win a Natty with two different teams.... even if it meant UGA won the Natty.

Players are much better at compartmentalizing things than fan. hey go at it for 60 minutes but after the game they are peers with mutual respect for the most part.

The way I saw it, he did indeed initiate. To be fair, he did play quite a bit krunker, and from what I could see, he did it well.
