THREE POINTS! No, not the three points Potter puts up to give us the wins (as well as his extra points). BUT, our illustrious offense is averaging 3 points per game passing the ball against Division 1 competition. Not doing much better at 6 points a game for our running game. Actually, I'm happy with the running game, but you can't be one dimensional. A passing game would increase running results as well as give the defense a break from playing 3/4 of the game. What's the problem? I think we all know, cement shoes. I know, DJ can break a straight run now and then. Unfortunately, his "deer in the headlights" look, along with the cement in his shoes, he's averaging more sacks a game than points.
This is NOT Clemson football. After five games, DJ has shown me nothing. I'm not saying pull him out for the year, but we need to see what the other QB's can do. All of them can hand the ball off! Some can even run and pass with it, even at the same time. DO something, insanity is not working, if you know what I mean.
