Those worried about Dabo going to Bama

When Satan retires... I think Kirby Smart may have something to say about that. I bet Smart has already secretly been labeled HC in waiting down there.

Due to risk in recruiting. If you were promised the HC position at Bama within the next 3-5 years, would you really leave to be HC at Colo St? Ark St? Etc? Its not like Bama isnt taking care of him monetarily or that he hasnt already been offered numerous HC jobs.

Especially for a coach in the nc hunt every year?
To answer your question, if I were smart I would be smart and get that in writing.
I find it odd you include crappy teams. Miami very well could be looking for a hc next year. That is a legit job.

Would be Texas and Notre Dame. And Bama is arguably a better brand than those 2 right now.

The fan base was divided on Bowden being forced out. And at that time FSU was losing far more than saban.
You really think the administration\booster club will be trying to force saban out? You think they well be siding with kirby?

That isnt a typo that is a complete misuse. A typo occurs if you say fat finger a letter and you hit one next to the one you meant to hit or you just miss a letter all together. Your mistake however was not one of carelessness but one of ignorance.
You're welcome for the lesson. Have a nice day.

Of schools in a group.
Texas, Michigan, notre ####, pen state, Ohio state, tenn, Florida state, Oregon, Oklahoma, Nebraska, and more all right up there wIth bama.
Any hc at those schools would be big time.

You know not what you speak of.
You ask any head coach and they well tell you the same. Any one who tries to rank them is pushing an agenda. They are all big time programs.
I highly doubt you will find any one, including kirby, that will tell you they turned down the Michigan job hoping to get the bama job.
I don't recall ever hearing any assistant coach ever turning down a hfbc job at those schools.

Didn't happen.
You have facts to say Nebraska ever offered him a job.
No facts saying Nebraska was willing to interview.
Without facts you are making assumptions.
I am clueless on coaching hires. Riley may just have been a top choice.
Last time I put my hat in the ring was wanting Shannon as dc. Recruited well and Miami always had a good d under him. Clemson chose venerable which I told all my friends was a mistake.
Look how that turned out for me.

doing. I'm not sure who convinced the BOT what was needed, but they certainly seem to now be onboard, too. Clemson may not have the #1 this or the #1 that, but the overall package competes quite well nationally. Clemson is perfectly positioned in the heart of Southeastern recruiting.

my god North Alabama, according to you, we should all just bow down, kiss Alabama's #### and pray to the heavens Dabo doesnt want to go to bama. Without E$ecPN's money, bama would not be where they are now. Overrated. Have you listened to their "fanbase" on the Finebaum show? Bunch of arrogant inbreds that can barely say anything legible except ROLL TIDE.
Maybe you are a bama fan at heart, but they have nothing for me.

Bama just needs to be thankful that Meyer left UF.

If he was still there, Bama would not have nearly as many $EC championships that they've won in the past 10 years.
Meyer leaving Florida was Bama's spring board.

I'm not worried about much of anything.

I'm certainly concerned about Dabo going to Bama. Not because I think he's looking to leave but anyone who doesn't consider the relationship between Dabo and Bama may not be remembering their time at college.
Bama provided Dabo's education and a couple-several years of football experience. Bama is home for Dabo. I know if I were coaching anywhere I would come home to Clemson without or with little reservation. I don't think it's fair for anyone to think less of Dabo is if he ever lands a job at Bama. I think it will be a tearful departure for him and his family along with most fans.
I really ought to look these emotional post over a little more closely before I hit the button.

But he said he'd never leave and he didn't. If Dabo wins a NC or is competing in top 4, he won't leave either.

I don't think he is a serious candidate between now and then, unless he wins the ACC three times and one MNC.

I think Dabo got fired from Alabama. Why would he go back for a repeat? He's a Tiger now!

My dad remembers a time when Frank Howard

was rumored to be going back to Bammer as an assistant or something.lol. Blah blah blah.
Then I myself can remember when Danny Ford was rumored to be looking at Bammer. Blah blah blah.
Now Dabo.....more blah blah blah.
It never happened with the first two, and I doubt it will happen in Dabo's case. JMHO.
Dabo is in the process of building something at Clemson that will surpass Alabama.
