How about we kick the fake FG. If Potter makes it he probably doesn't miss 3 straight.

"Gimmick plays" were about 14th on our list of

"reasons we lost". Much, much more significant were pathetic pass protection, failure to establish the run, and the breakdowns in pass coverage which gave up several huge plays.

Trick plays were a non-factor. We had plenty of chances to score and win in spite of 2 or 3 failed trick plays. Plenty of other failures.

we are inferior and need tricks to beat them. And they have an extremely low percentage of success. Just dumb all around.
