I get that we are incredibly thin at WR, but you can at least get creative with slants, mesh routes, etc… Right now the playcalling is bland as can be.

What plays would work better when the WRs are dropping the ball and the OL isn’t blocking?

Yes. I said the same thing. The running plays are basis too. Up the middle mostly. I have liked the passes to Shipley out of the backfield though. We need to use some misdirection and sweeps and handoffs to a RB in motion. Anything but up the middle all the time. If not for the scoop and score this game is about even.

Our Kicker is the best offensive weapon we have. Receivers don’t block for each other and O line largely inconsistent.
