Ticket renewal qwershun......

Ok been getting 4 tix for years now. Upped my IPTAY donation to get 5 tix in our current section. Go online and I can either renew tix (4) or I have to request all new tix? Then there's something about $450 upper and $500 lower? What's that!?
How can I ask to renew our seats and add one, or do I have to just request 5 new tix? If I do that do I lose parking renewal too?
Tried to call but it's Chic-Fil-A day.

I would assume you need five new seat assignments as the seats

You cant just add a ticket to your current seating UNLESS

1) Someone gives up a seat
And
2) You have top priority to get assigned that seat.
Highly unlikely, your gonna have to talk to the ticket manager

Because the "odd" portion of section L doubled in value last year, my father in law reached out to IPTAY to see if we could actually get better tickets for the money we were being asked to give. We currently have 8 tickets (4 each in section L and M) and 2 Brooks center parking passes. We figured that there might be some folks that preferred not to go up on their contribution and give up their seats. IPTAY told him he would have to give $12000 this year to improve his tickets. That is the level of priority that is currently trying to scoop up lower deck tickets. So if you have lower deck tickets, and you want to keep going to games for roughly what you are paying/ giving, you are better off advertising here and building relationships with people that have seats next to your existing tickets.
I will add this additional point, I am stubborn person. I like my tickets. I dont really want to give them up. But its getting harder to justify spending the money for season tickets each year. It seems like it would just be easier to buy as you need them from Stubhub or a guaranteed site like that. I am curious how many folks are in my similar situation, and are close to saying the heck with it.

We had 3 season tickets for 20+ years. After my kids were born, wanted to keep in same seats but add a 4th. Seats around us basically changed every year.
After trying through application, and then several phone calls, I just said the HELL with it and drove to the IPTAY office. So much easier, explained my situation, and we sat together to figure it out.
At that point there were no seats on my row that could be moved. She ended up creating a seat directly behind us, so we could get 4 "together".
Perfect solution for us, and the rare occasion where IPTAY stepped up for me.
I'm convinced this would have never happened over the phone.

Friends behind us 2 seats over couldn't get their pair of tickets swapped with the people next to them, just to move 2 seats over. Both ticket holders were in agreement to do this but Ticket Office wouldn't do it by phone.
Would have been good for us to get to buy or sell to the ones directly above us. I'm convinced in person would have gotten this done.

$450 is the UDP season ticket price, $500 is the LDR season ticket price***
