Early Dabo Swinney would hire like this. He did. He promoted from within and had to go after Morris to keep his job.

But remember he fired Vic Koenning to bring in Kevin Steele then when that didn't work out fired Steele and brought in Venables.

The key is when he makes a mistake, he needs to be quick

To correct it. He left Tony Elliott in place too long. Now he hired a yes man to replace Elliott. Fix it NOW Dabo to send a message to the players and recruits that BEST IS THE STANDARD!

I watched this video last night. The guy isn't wrong. I thought the Streeter interview was very telling. He was in a very defensive mode answering questions. His prior answer was that the passing game was non-existent, so the reporter followed up with was a change considered to resolve that, and he blew up on him. The tone of his answer was that of "why is this even being asked?". I mean he went 8 of 29, yea there were 3 dropped passes which puts him at 11 of 29 if those were completed. Still not acceptable. There were underthrown and overthrown passes all over the place. It was obvious to me that DJ was not comfortable at all throwing the ball. It was an extremely fair question to ask, and I felt like Streeters response was totally out of line. In addition to that I have never felt like any of his answers to questions have added anything original, just been a toe the company line type response. Sitting at 190 and 215 yards passing per game the past two seasons is a big drop off from where we have been the past decade.
