This game "feels" like the VT games last year....

Aug 27, 2012, 9:56 AM

I have been so edgy for the last several weeks that it is hard to post anything.

I feel like I did in the VT game. I knew we could beat the but could we do it on the field. Also, VT had a better offense than Auburn should have and look what we did.

Auburn is putting their eggs in the basket of their defense shutting our offense down and taking the air out of the ball.....That just isn't happening!

Auburn has a true freshman center and a true sophomore QB and we should be able to get into head early.

We got this gang!

Outside of injuries, I can't see us losing this game.

We have the advantage at every position on the field outside of our OL vs their DL. But we faced better DLs last year also...

I'm just worried about our O-line because I don't......

really know what to expect since this is the first game.

Many, including myself, thought the same thing about WV.***

There's something in these hills.

Too Tiger fans were underestimating WVU's air raid offense

At best I thought it'd be a shoot out but I thought we had better athlete's on D, which is true, but I didn't count on Steele crapping the bed and calling plays from his NFL days.

You couldn't ask for a better game for

our defense to "redeem" themselves after last year's OB. If I played on that defense that has gotten no respect for the last 8 months, I'd be ready to rip somebody's head off. Combine that with the fact that Auburn has so many question marks on offense, and I think you will see a tough night offensively for the Aubs. Does anyone really think they will score more than about 17 points at most?

I think we are a lot more likely to shut them down than they

are to shutting us down.

IMO, stop their qb running and you stop their offense.

I hope we play a high risk/reward defense to put a lot of pressure on them and force them to throw it deep. We need to get them off the field fast every time.

Auburn shouldn't score more than 10 points looking at their Offense. They have no home run hitters, a true Sophomore QB with a suspended center. If we protect the rock, I expect to win by a comfortable margin
