TIA in advance.

Are you talking German Shepard Police or Pointer?...........

If it's GSPolice they are awesome dogs.

Just a FYI, if a inside dog they shed A LOT. But worth the trade off of hair everywhere.

If talking about a german shorthair then he is correct. They do shed , but only your woman will see it. They are great dogs. I have had one for 8yrs and will not own a different breed

So I guess both breeds shed a lot. I want .........

to get a dog also.

I want a Weimaraner aka "the grey ghost", but I read they are very needy and hyper.

Beautiful dog though.

Both great animals!. Nazi's? hmm maybe, Sieg Heil. ;)

But the best dog Kelli and I ever had was our chocolate lab.

Really bad separation anxiety as well, proceed with caution

Please forgive me, @IneligibleUser

Had one my senior year at CU

living in Central. Or he had me. Ultra hyper. Need direction and training. He would always get my attention by grabbing my wrist like a retriever.

First cousin has four of them that are big enough to ride. Almost.

Weimaraner's

are pretty similar to a GSP. Need exercise and a purpose. If you train them properly, they will be a great companion and be exhausted by their training also. Im teaching Ellie "heel" right now and watching her try to figure out exactly what I want is pretty adorable. She will go through the motions of "sit", "shake", "lay" and "roll over" before she finally realizes the position she needs to be in and where.

These sorts of dogs need both exercise for their body and mind. Ellie has been excellent so far. This morning when my alarm went off, she licked my face for about five minutes and then each time I told her to go outside, she would bark once and cuddle with me even more.
