He has been so against its use he would be admitting to the world he was wrong. He simply will never do that. I’m also unsure at this point anyone would want to leave where they are now to come here with the way things are going. We can do this two ways. The first is to force Dabos hand over the next few years to admit he needs the help, hire it or as in the case of the portal, start using it.

Sadly the second way is the most likely way we’ll proceed. It involves changing nothing, staying the course and allowing Clemson football to implode. Has Dabo earned the right to do this? I don’t think he has

I think there will be a big exodus to the portal from this team in December. Players know the trajectory of this program is downward. Also, watch for commitments to start flipping.

That’s just it, he’s been given too much power. But anything given can be taken away and that’s what I’m suggesting in lieu of a complete parting of ways. No other coach in this country isn’t beholden to the AD and the Alumni who pays them both. Not sure why you or anyone else would act like this is ok here because it’s not

You dove into the psychology of Dabo and changes you feel he needs to make. I’m saying, from a purely psychological perspective, “forcing” doesn’t work. And if you don’t think other programs are in similar situations you are mistaken. Name the head coaches for each of the top 10 schools in the country, now name the ADs.

He might have to. There is a possibility that we lose several players to the NFL and to the portal. Our current class only has 17 commits.
