There is a sector of Clemson Fans that are destroying the image of the Clemson fan base. Instead of supporting our coaches, players and our school........They somehow get enjoyment out of tearing down anything Clemson related. How can any so called Clemson fan start digging into the personal life of our coaches and start spreading it around it an effort to try and get the coach fired. Example Coach Leggett, he has come under so much fire the past 5 years about his personal life. I wouldn't be shocked to hear that a Clemson fan was the one who burnt Coach Leggett's house down while he was away a few years ago. Clemson fans are the ones who tried in vain to get Coach Leggett fired due to his beliefs. They are the ones that were calling into talk shows, posting all over the web spreading as much dirt they could to get him fired.

As for Coach Swiney, Terry Don and others at Clemson. Some fans will do anything they can to get rid of them to even making up lies about them. TDP is on the verge of moving Clemson to the next level while ensuring Clemson is not left behind when it comes to football discussions. Coach Swiney I feel is an up and coming coach, look what he has done in 3 years at Clemson. Yea he has not won a national championship but how many coaches in the country can say they have won a national championship in their first 3 years of head coaching?

I have friends all over the US and took pride in them saying how great the Clemson fans are. Now all I hear is how terrible the Clemson fans have become. From " dang, you guys want to fire your coaches every year" to "clemson fans are a bunch of whiny #### fans". National media has picked up on this image of Clemson fans which take shots at us every chance they get.

The Clemson family image is no more, its been replaced by a divided fan base.

I guess you can call me a Clemson "sunshine pumper" even though I do not agree with ever thing going on at Clemson and some of the decisions being made. I remember some words my grandmother told me one day....... "How do you expect someone to grow up and be great if you only want to talk about their faughts. A little praise can go along way in lifting someone up so they would want to achive even higher goals"
