The word Clemsoning will not go away.

Nov 8, 2015, 2:07 PM

The media will keep using this word so change the meaning. Clemsoning is what happened last night.
FSU got Clemsoned.

You suggest to stick your head in the sand and it will go away. That is not going to happen.

Yes, he's suggesting you ignore it and stop bringing it up. It's solid reasoning actually.

Well....

Smart guy with the 64% pulse,

Here goes: your obviously new here. I've been around awhile.

One of your very first post is about "Clemsoning".

My head is not in the sand. I've moved past it. On the other hand, folks like yourself have their head up their A$$, because you (and many others like you) won't let it die!

This is a big T-net! LOTS AND LOTS of topics to talk about. Why bring up one that 99% on this board are going to sound off on you (like me) about??

Get a clue!

Go Tigers!!!

How many time do you think I have hated that word?

Nov 8, 2015, 2:31 PM

Jason Sehorn is the worst. Mike Bianchi used it in his story not me.
Just pretend it will go away or better yet just call me a coot, chicken crap or what ever.
When the reaction is this it will not go away. Everyone know how to push our buttons.
Thanks for you all's through put.

more complaining about it that goes on, the more those who want to use it will continue to use it.

The student body likes the "Who Hoo" because it pisses off older Clemson fans.

The media like the term "Clemson-ing" because it pisses of Clemson fans in general.

I have simply ignored the "Whoo Hoo" and I also plan to ignore the media referencing "that made up word".

Thanks Apex someone gets what is going on.

Nov 8, 2015, 11:48 PM

The more you get mad by the word all the haters will keep using it. I would prefer to use Clemsoned. FSU got Clemsoned yesterday.

For instance, consider Yankee Doodle

Nov 9, 2015, 3:28 AM [ in reply to It's ingrained ... just like the hated "Whoo-Hoo" ... the ]

During the Revolutionary War, the term was coined by the English to embarrass us as fools and contemptible nuisances.
We stole it from them and a beat those Lymie's down.
If history is filled with idiots, why should we expect the present and future to be any different?
Suck it, Coots.

No one here gives a crap about your agenda. Clemson has a championship or 3 to win. Why don't you go worry about finding a coach?

It'll be around forever and won't go away. With today's social media and the general smart aleckness of people on Twitter, etc then it'll remain.

And when we do lose to an unranked team or get blown out by a top team.....people will say we clemsoned and 'there's the Clemson I always knew'. Just hope national media doesn't say it.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

I think if we win a National Title it will.***

Nov 9, 2015, 7:17 AM

hopefully is sometime in 2018, we will have Clemsoned again. ESPN now goes out of their way to use the word, even quoting it from the "Urban Dictionary" with the meaning splashed on their big screen. I, for one, hope they keep doing it. It gets Dabo fired up, which gets the team fired up, which gets our opponent BEAT DOWN. Keep Clemsoning, guys.

Once we win the championship (or three) we can make that word have a whole new definition.

We can make up our own words and people will start using them.

The only people who will use it in that context will look petty and jealous. It will expose the haters and have nots and nothing more.

People will stop using it, or they will look like the fools they are. I will enjoy pointing out their foolishness any time someone attempts it.
