I have maintained the whole time, anybody who is considering the vaccine, or has questions about it, should ask their doctor(s). Don't rely on FOX News or CNN or NBC or political websites or celebrities, or even The Jounge, for God's sake. Ask your doctor, and if you don't trust your doctor, get a new doctor.
Russell Brand makes a great point here, no doubt, but I'm not taking medical advice, especially regarding my personal situation, from him or any celebrity. When the vaccines first became available, all of my doctors, GP, 2 cardiologists, neurologist, all said unequivocably "Get the vaccine - it's important". Guess what I did?

anything off of what I heard while on hold with CVS. Certainly not a medical decision.
Look, if people decide not to get the vaccine, I'm fine with that; It's a personal choice. I have family and friends - good, thoughtful, smart, educated people, who have refused to get the vaccine. It's their choice and I wouldn't have it any other way. If people make their decision based on a coin flip or tarot cards, that's their choice, and none of my business. For me, it was a medical decision, and while I was very familiar with the arguments for and against the vaccine, I went with the advice of my personal doctors who have literally saved my life, because I trust them more than Russell Brand or the hold message at CVS.

Do what the doctor tells you to do. If you don't trust the doctor, then find a new doctor. But be wary of why you all of a sudden don't trust him/her, that your own conceptions/opinions are not a factor.
