with a dominant defense and an improved offense can have success next year in the playoffs. The portal and NIL has definitely diluted the quality of the best teams.

Difference is, with either McCarthy or Milroe, Clemson would’ve been 13-0.

against Texas. Both QBs, in their third years on each team, had stats basically the same as Cade's. They just had better offensive lines and playmakers at wide receiver than Cade did.
So, no, I don't believe that you are correct.

I would give you that about Michigan, but Washington is a top-ten offense in every metric I could find. It does give hope though because football is a team sport. Washington's Defense is not that great, but it has been good enough. Michigan's offense has not been that great, but it has been good enough to let their #2 defense pan out. Often the whole is greater than the sum of its parts. What I hope for the most next season is mistake-free football. That is how we can beat Georgia. As of Saturday the only game that matters is the game against Georgia to open the 2024 season. I am pretty sure that is all our coaching staff will be focused on in terms of games.

in the Rose Bowl. Their offenses were mediocre. That was one half of the 4 playoff teams.
Washington has a great offense and I hope they win it all.

I don't really care who wins it all. Two woke schools from woke states. I just don't care.

I went there often. Spent plenty of time in the Seattle Area and I've driven all over the state several times.

Lol, I can sort of see your point about Alabama, they certainly have had their struggles on offense and the QB still does not seem in sync with the offensive line.
Michigan’s Offense is certainly not “mediocre”…definitely in comparison to us this year…
Our offense is not in seem realm as Michigan, not even close. JJ McCarthy is one of the most efficient QBs in the country and he is way less turnover prone than Cade. Their receivers are better than ours and as much as we all love Mafah and Ship, Blake Corum is better than both of them. Finally, their offensive line is elite and ours is definitely not.

Michigan had like the 14th scoring offense this year at 46 per game. And that was against 7 of the top 40 scoring defenses. Hiwever, Michigan’s total yards per game was much, much lower.
