Does Spurrier have uSC on the right track?? Many South Carolina fans consider their team to be elite.

They're delusional.

Sure, the Gamecocks have won four consecutive postseason games, but they have all been second tier games. Not once in the entire 17-year era of the BCS have they even played in a BCS contest let alone win one.

Sure, the C0cks had three 11-win seasons in Spurrier's 10 years, but that's outweighed by four seasons with 6 losses. In Spurrier 10th season in Columbia, they finished 7-6 for the third time along with a 6-6 season.

Sure, they had four above average seasons in Spurrier's tenure, but after 23 years playing in the SEC, they’ve finished with a losing record in-conference 13 times. 13/23 = 57%. In Spurrier's 10th season at the helm, they did it again.

Not even sure they're going to make it back into the station. Before its all said and done, it could get even more comical than the c0cks we've become accustomed to for a century. Personally I hope Sack doesn't retire anytime soon. I'm hoping for a Redskin-like disaster so he can quit with that sour look on his face as he rides off into the sunset. He deserves it.
