The sky is "not" falling

Nov 13, 2016, 7:30 AM

The comments on this board after last night's loss range from constructive, to idiotic and on to downright asinine.

While many of those comments are simply coots being coots, some of the remarks are over-reactions to real problems and legitimate criticism.

Posting the ref's information, regardless of how easy it is to look up or the reasoning and justification is completely uncalled for, no matter where he got his degree.

The referees did indeed have some input on this loss but our coaches and players had their fair share.

I wish Boulware wouldn't take himself out of plays for the sake of hitting someone or Watson wouldn't have those few moments of lackadaisical decision-making or even that our OCs could call a much better play than we attempted on 4th and one. Along with the phantom calls from the refs, those and other actions/decisions determined this outcome.

At the end of the day, the no 2, 3 and 4 teams lost which more than keeps us in the hunt, we seem to still control our own destiny.

Perhaps our living lucky at times while winning nearly every game for two years made us take things for granted.

Perhaps, this loss can be the wake-up call our guys needed to achieve a better result than last season. I do know I like our chances of playing in Atlanta better at this point.

We all know what that would mean.

You failed to mention the media darlings from Louisville.I believe they jump us,and will remain so unless they lose.
I don't believe that to be either constructive, idiotic,or asinine.
It's just an opinion. And yes I know everybody has one.
