The real difference against Notre Dame?

I haven’t seen anybody credit the grounds crew for the mowing pattern last Saturday as the reason we took down the Irish. They went with full 5 yard swaths from 20 yard line to 20 yard line but mowed a tight 1 yard alternating swath in the red zones. Plus the grass looked 10 times greener than earlier home games. Did we resod during the off week followed by two away games or did we just overseed with rye? Anybody got the scoop?

They put copper antennas all over the field and sang songs to it. Something about the vibrations made it better.
