That the idea of the power 5 is already dead and buried. Everyone knows that we are heading to a SEC vs Big 10 college football world and the committee just sped up that decision. All 4 teams in the playoff will be in those two conferences next year.

What’s more concerning is that 10 of the 12 teams selected for the “New Year’s 6” will be SEC or Big 10 next year. It is an obvious signal that the ACC and Big 12 are screwed for the foreseeable future. It is imperative that Clemson leaves the ACC now more than ever.

I can’t understand the love for the B1G. When was their last national championship?

I will say I was impressed with OSU’s game against Georgia in last years semifinal, but normally that conference fades fast in the playoffs.

if it was Iowa then they wouldn't put them in it... but if its michigan or ohio state then their in automatically b/c of the amount of people that will watch or travel.
