are not correct! He is a recruiting machine and needs to stay. The poor play of his defensive front is not totally on him but rather comes straight down from the DC who has introduce soft, containment defense which handcuffs the defensive players and softens the entire approach. Eason has nothing to do with this. That is all on the DC who has no clue what he is doing. Bend & don't break is fine when you are up by 30 points and you want to allow the other team to burn clock and give them some points. In a close game, this soft containment defense is a KILLER and ruins team aggressiveness, and produces losses.

i hate a 3-4 defense

I remember Todd Grantham being this highly touted defensive coordinator that coached at UGA, UL, UF and whenever we played a team he coached it was winnable b/c of that "vaunted" 3-4 set. Loved watching Clemson pick it apart and hate that we're now dabbling with it seriously. Please kick that soft defense to curb and go back to 4-3 full time. I'm not opposed to giving a surprise look every once in a while but we started the game with it against Duke..and i was like.. "oh crap this ain't good."

I think the 4-2-5 would be best right now with limited LB's

Woodaz, Carter, Mukuba and many others are effective options at Nickel

plenty of NFL talent look slow and lost. Where were our two linebackers who are supposed to be the best in the business. Let Eason coach this D and see if get better results.

When you have talent and speed, you have to turn them loose! It's like Paul Westhead running a ball control offense with Magic Johnson and the Lakers. Silly. When you have stallions, let'em run!
