I'd take UM to cover and take UW with 4.5.

Is my point....
Why we spend 20M on coaches when we can't make a playoff going undefeated?
How do we recruit? Oh yeah go to Clemson, go 13-0, win league, go to sugar bowl
It's ###### man, I don't care who the team is

Someone can check me on that
Last undefeated conf champ to get snubbed at a title bid was that Auburn team with Cadillac and Ronnie Brown. Maybe 03, 04?

It was FSU, not Clemson, and mainly because Hunter got hurt. They would have been in under those circumstances. Also, Fu>ck FSU. Them and UGa being out of the playoffs is wonderful.

and respect it. But I think it's short sighted.
The market place basically said we're playing in the Sun Belt with this decision.
That is very significant with respect to the broader, long-term outlook of our league and our viability in terms of being able to compete for championships.
In the current landscape, already running at a substantial financial deficit to our regional peers, our decision makers will need to re-evaluate our association with this league if we want to continue investing the amount of dollars we are into the football program.
In my view, that's a very real, straight-forward, and objective take away from the precedent that was set this weekend.

potentially dangerous for Clemson, was an anomaly.
Clemson goes 13-0 and wins the ACC, we are 100% in over Alabama. Yall are making up situations that didn't happen just to get mad and act like Chicken Little over it.

but I've never heard of any ranking of a team based on one guy getting hurt.
Seems like they'd base that kinda thing on wins and losses, and SoS.

but the decision makers of the college football playoff just said that an undefeated champion of our conference isn't worthy to play for a championship.
that's a massive precedent, regardless of who the team was, and a blatant degradation of value wrt the ACC's competitiveness moving forward.
