was noted by several yesterday. To put that in perspective for you non-military types, my dad was Air Force and I was active duty army for 14 years. I made over 25 moves before I was 36. In the 45 years since then I only made 6 moves.

It’s common knowledge that a life in the military requires many moves which is very stressful on a family

The moves aren't near as stressful as the deployments

When one of the parents isn't there the burden on the other more than doubles. I only had one deployment after I got married and it was before we had kids. How they do it with the 4-5 deployments that are rather common now is amazing.
