Phil Mafah. Fourth down on the goal line. Put in two tight ends, or better yet the jumbo package. Have the line disregard zone blocking, get in a three point stance, fire out and knock someone backwards. Give it to Mafah! Shipley is not the answer, has a bad attitude, and has been coddled by Dabo all year. Meanwhile Mafah just stands on the sidelines in these situations and has to watch such ineptness. Doubt he will be around next year and rightfully so.
I agree with getting Mafah the ball inside the 2-3 yardline. As far as the heavy package goes, it doesn't help when the oline is getting pushed into the backfield, just further closes any access to the endzone.
Mafah puts the ball on the ground at the goal line, misses blocks, etc. coaches are right on this one. I would give Keith Adams a shot. Kid is physical.
