As I watched the Natty on Monday night I kept asking my wife who the hayull cares what Dan Lanning thinks about the goings on in this game. I now understand Dan Lanning was being interviewed in that moment to be the face of ESPN for years to come. Since the SEC is ESPN's pet and despite what Georgia has done the past four or five years the golden child still remains Alabama. ESPN had to verify the hire before Saban had even stepped down.

Now go ahead and give me my tinfoil hat.

Kind of agree. Thought it was strange they chose Lanning for Monday.
