the game tonight? Normally, I'm inundated with news and coverage across all media the week before the Natty game, and I don't feel like I've TVed or internetted less...could this be because there isn't an SEC team playing so the world doesn't care as much?

Could be that the 18 week NFL season pushed into the CFB final game? Seems like the NFL took all the oxygen this year.

Then again, this isn’t the first NFL season with 17 games.

Personally, aside from the Clemson games - I have found this years to be the most interesting. Precisely because there is no smelly inbred SEC team.
