Thankful for the the win and kudos to the D but DJ

has been a disappointment to most people posting on tnet. Not making reads, not reacting quick enough, missing simple throws. It is looking like last year was an anomaly. Everyone had such high expectations for him and he is yet to perform like a D1 leading qb much less a Heisman candidate. And when are we going to elevate our recruiting priorities for an offensive linemen? It seems that is last priority behind skill players, dline, dbacks. I love my Tigers but unless DJ can elevate his game we are not going to win out I fear.
Not seeing DJ and the wide receivers getting even close to what we expected is the fear.
I want to win out, don’t get me wrong, but this offense should score at least score 33-35 points a game. I think that’s a very reasonable benchmark considering we’ve been over 40 points a game for several years in a row now. We just scored 19 and that was “progress.” Right now we’re playing Muschump-style football and it appears it’s gonna be like that for a while.
I just feel for the defense and the special teams. Put up any kind of above average offense to this point and this team would be just fine despite all the massive injuries.

WR group is nowhere close to what we have been seeing around here also. We can still be a great team without the all superstars that we have been spoiled by around here. The Oline looked better last night and that’s improvement. Personally, that’s enough to hang your hat on for now. It is what it is. Keep improving. Go Tigers!
