Asking for Help from the Clemson Family

Hello everyone. A sad situation in my town has happened as young John Conway, a schoolmate of my daughter was struck and killed by a car. He was a third grader. The town I live in is a small close-knit community, so it's been very sad for everyone to say the least and tragic for John's family. Here is a link to the story for more information on that:

NH 8-year-old dies days after being hit by car

An 8-year-old Salem, New Hampshire, boy died from his injuries Tuesday, a few days after being hit by a car.

As far as help goes, I thought, well who better to ask than my Clemson family back home. I will copy and paste information on how anyone can help below this. The principal of the school, Mr. Murray, is an avid college football fan and I do forgive him for pulling for the Florida Gators all the time. He is just an incredible human being that has selflessly and tirelessly served his community for a long time. He is broken by this as well, since everyone loved John and the kid was just so happy and positive. I thought, well maybe it would be something good and helpful to scratch the itch of the Clemson family who always has the need and drive to help to have an opportunity to give something here. It is understandable that times are hard and many folks will have no option to help with something like this, but even just a gesture of a check for $5 would brighten the situation tremendously. And for Mr. Murray's sake, if you mail a donation to the school, make sure to say it's from the Clemson family. He knows I went to Clemson and does like Clemson and Dabo and all that goes with our people. Thank you from the bottom of my heart to anyone that helps with this and Go Tigers! Let's come home with a W from South Bend on Saturday.

"Fisk School, the Salem School District, and the Salem community as a whole mourn the tragic loss of third-grade student John Conway. His spirit, and the impact he had on students and staff lives on.

In response to the many requests to assist the family, Fisk School is accepting donations in his memory to help defray funeral costs and provide financial assistance to the family during this difficult time. Funds will also help support a Dollars for Scholars effort in his name.
