Texas has had at least double the money Clemson has for the

the last couple decades. Really forever.

How much more money would have resulted in them not being wholly inferior to us for the last 10 years in football?

Would another 300 million have made then national champions? Maybe 500 million?

If I advised UT or any extraordinary wealth school I would..

recommend they offer Dabo 15 mil/yr for the first four years with bonuses added for achievement.

No, money won't win football games. Dabo wins football games and he is the most experienced at winning in his age group when makes him the golden goose.

Clemson will be just fine at our current level of income. That doesn't mean I'm happy about the disparaging difference between what Clemson gets from the ACC and what other conferences give members.

All the realignment stuff is for dark days when football games are happening.

Texas is a bad example. Their culture is caca. (Thats spanish for doo doo). They think they are the top dog and its brought a sense of entitlement within everything - but especially their football program. Clemson is somewhat of an anomaly in the other direction. They have a “little guy” chip on their shoulder type program. Kind of like a better version on 2010-2017 Michigan State.

There are many teams with more money than Clemson who have not had as much success as Clemson. The goal is to win a national championship so when is the last time a poorer team has won a natty? Money won't guarantee success, but a lack of money will limit a team's level of success.

When the coots are making double what Clemson makes you really want to wait around 13 years and see what happens?

Texas, like some other state schools who are located in liberally controlled areas, are inundated with the anti-America, anti-Sports, anti-Christian bias that seems to be par for the course for "politicized" cities. I lived in Texas years ago and it was just an over grown college town whose most famous citizens were Willie Nelson and Darrel Royal. Football was king! Then the Hippie crowd moved in, followed by the Socialists, Communists and the Madeline Murray O'Hare's of the world and Austin changed forever. It is now controlled by left wing radicals in every facet of the city and the school. Ask anyone who has been there the past few years. They actually hold classes down on 6th street on Radical Overthrow of the American Government. Having a national power in football in this environment is virtually impossible. Just see Cal-Berkeley, UNC, Duke, GATECH, Maryland, etc. Many schools have gone down this same road where the demographics changed to liberalism and the football program went from competing nationally to virtual irrelevance. On the other hand, you have state schools in state capitols like Columbia, SC who were never relevant and never will be!

Wake up America. Money does not equal wins, never has, never will.

Living in Texas...I was told this by several UT fans as Clemson was ascending...

Clemson just doesn't have the money to compete with a program like UT...etc..etc..

It's funny - I never hear that anymore....

It also doesn't equal better education***
