We've been in more recruiting battles with Auburn the last few years anyway. Just about every name that was being called for Auburn tonight on defense was considering Clemson.

but we lose them to the rest of the SEC schools! Get a clue -- that's what has been happening the past 7-8 years!
If a kid can't get on with Alabama, they'd go to TN, GA, Auburn, LSU -- wherever, as long as they were "associated" with the "best" (b/c of all of the trophies)!

If that theory is true, then why did 4 different SEC teams win a championship? Florida should have been able to win every recruit according to your dumb logic.

That whole line every SEC school has been using just went out the window. While we might lose a recruit here or there to a school we are competing with, the recruiting for every school in the conference benefits from having a champion.
