a players worth isnt just in how much separation achieved when running downfield… if thats the only metric, then burners are of course rated the highest. wheres that john ross character from couple yrs back

Yep. Had more tuddies than the Chase or the OU lady-hitter (Joe Mixon).

Chase was a ghost in the early half of the season because Tee knew the playbook. Only once Tee got known by other teams as the ace did they start covering him, which then opened up the corndog opt-out.

That's the stupidest crap that I have ever read. Higgins' strength is not outrunning his defenders like a 5'10" speedster but getting enough separation to compete for balls which he does extremely well and make catches. By those metrics Nuk Hopkins is probably the worst receiver in the NFL.

If you're a "go-up-and-get-it" receiver, you actually prefer contact with the DB, not separation, when you make your move to the ball.

Like a skilled basketball player in the post. Once you get him on your back, you can keep him there. Knowing where he is and using your bigger body to keep him there is the key.. Not knowing where he is can create issues.
