Florida St, Tennessee and Auburn should show everyone that a football centric school like Clemson can also have a very good basketball program and shouldn't settle. I believe in giving a coach time to build but after 7 or 8 years it is what it is. Time for Clemson basketball to move on from Brownell. I hate it personally. I prefer consistency but Brownell has proved to me that he's little more than a good mid major coach. Clemson is a national brand and a good coach would be able to sell this program and build it, if nothing else, into a consistent tournament team.
Two of the three are raging dumpster fires and the other WANTS to fire its coach.
Next, none of these programs has a sustained basketball program. Maybe UT is kinda Kentucky's little sister but FSU us streaky but upper-mid table in the ACC under Hamilton. He is barely above .500 in league play and had a Brownell-share number of 7,8, and 9 ACC win seasons. Auburn has a basketball team? Wait, that is Barkley's gym team right?
Actually, Hamilton is your reason for keeping Brad. Hamilton's breakout season was his 8th, 9th and 10th at FSU. Before that, it was a lot of "meh". If you have a good coach, you just keep letting him work the mines because it is a lot easier to find a sub 8 win coach than it is one that can win 10+ ACC games.
