USC would be conference champs with the same number of Ws as Bama. Along with a more difficult SOS. I could see them putting Bama in but I think USC should over them. If Ohio St wins their conference and Oklahoma doesn't I think that is.enough to.move OSU ahead of OU even with the head to head.

Yes, but USC got absolutely waxed by ND, who went on to get waxed twice.
Also, you say USC would have the same wins as Bama with a stronger resume, so would Oklahoma if they lose, and they would have the same number of wins and losses as Ohio State with the H2H win.

While true, in the public eye the B1G>Pac 12, hence Ohio State currently being ranked above USC.
I don't see how if they both win you have USC jumping OSU.

I would probably gave OSU at 3 and USC at 4. Yes Oklahoma would have the head to head and that makes it hard but OSU would be conference champions and Okie wouldnt.

Yes but USC would be a conference champ so they would get the edge over any 11 W or 2 L team that isn't conference champ.

I just can't fully believe that, not when Oklahoma would have a better resume than USC in what is perceived as a better conference.
Lets also not forget last year, where Ohio State got in over 11-2 Penn State who had won the H2H and conference championship.

This is true but Oklahoma does not have a much better resume than USC if they lose to TCU and USC beats Stanford.

The Committee likes Ohio State even more than Alabama. They put Ohio State in and then have to put in Oklahoma since they demolished Ohio State in their place.

No way a two loss Oklahoma gets in over a 1 loss Bama. I think Bama moves to 3 and OSU gets the nod for the conference Championship. Unless Wisconsin wins I think Bama is in.

That's the thing though, Bama doesn't have a good resume this year.
Miss State was a pretty average team with one key win over LSU, LSU was an average team who lost to Troy and pulled one out at home against Auburn.
That's really all they have, so I could definitely see Ohio State getting in over Bama by virtue of beating Penn State and Wisconsin, better wins than Bama has.
I don't think USC can get in, see above for virtually the same reasons.
If Oklahoma is ranked 1 or 2 I could see them surviving a loss and being a 3/4 seed.
If the scenario holds above realistically I see:
1) Clemson 2) UGA 3) Oklahoma 4) Ohio State

I hope you are right and I am in the conference champions only camp, but I have a bad feeling we will see Bama in the Sugar Bowl. Not because I think they are better than us right now, but because I feel there will be a double standard.

I believe conference champions should be weighted, but I'm not sold on conference champions only just yet. The real issue with that would be if, HYPOTHETICALLY (so this doesn't get flamed), NC State had beat us this year, finished the year 8-0 in the ACC but had a record of 9-3, and won the ACCCG to finish 10-3, they shouldn't get in over say, Bama at 11-1.
However, if a conference champ is 11-2 (maybe Auburn) or certainly 12-1 or 13-0 they deserve a spot at the table unless by some miracle there are 5 Power 5 champs with identical records (likely to never happen).
Also, if we beat Miami I see no way we aren't #1 in the final rankings, and if Bama is #4 there is no way in hell they make us play them in the Sugar Bowl, or we will fire up the fax machines like old times.
