Targeting....

Sep 17, 2017, 12:45 PM

Early in the 1st half Ray-ray was the recipient of a helmet to helmet, early in the 2nd half, on back to back plays, Fuller and Feaster were hit in the head.

There was defInitely one play that could've gone targeting against Louisville, can't remember it exactly though. But leading with the crown of the helmet is what calls for targetIng. Helmet to helmet contact is not necessarily targeting.

BTW, on the Muse targeting play, Mullen was clearly blocked

in the back but that wasn't called, yet L'ville is blaming much of the loss on the refs.

On Clemson's first drive, a Clemson player was tackled with an obvious helmet to helmet tackle and no call. Can't remember the player but it was about the 30 yard line of Louisville.

Officials did a good job last night - OK with all the calls

Sep 17, 2017, 12:51 PM

and no calls.

They did meh, but on par for ACC officials.

The non existent face mask call that brought a TD back against Clemson was clownish. And they screwed up many spot calls but all of those were fixed in replay.

But I would love to have that TD though. They will have to owe us one. Maybe they give
It back against FSU.

Refs had to get Muse off the field early cause they knew he was gonna murder somebody if he stayed out there... dude is a BAD man!!!

My theory is that we recruited a super athletic kid and during the offseason we put venebles brain in Muse's head.
