Its often been my theory right or wrong that the reason Hunter Johnson was not given a change to revive a sluggish offense last year in Syracuse was to avoid potential conflict of the incoming Trevor Lawrence. Had Johnson came in and electrified the offense the coaches would have had more pressure to give him more chances and if he had established himself would Trevor had reconsidered his commitment. Hunter's skill set was much more comparable to Trevor's although I don't believe anyone could have held Trevor back for an entire season. This is probably all just imagination but what do you guys think?
