Swag Kelly said Swinney treated him different than others

“I did everything I was asked to do,” Kelly said. And in the next breath: “I easily could have approached the situation different.”
“It wasn’t for anything that Coach preached about,” Kelly said. “He preached about going to class, doing the right thing. … I never missed one class, but yet I was kicked off the team when there were kids missing 20 classes a semester. It was weird how he put his standards higher for me.”

It's weird how he held me accountable...
If you are going to lead my program, you are going to do it my way!

You were kicked off the team for being a cancer. You really think that going to class is enough? That's what your expected to do as a STUDENT athlete. If you didn't care about that then go to UNC.
Also you're the QB of Clemson. You are held to a higher standard as the QB is often the face of the team. If you hadn't of lost your mind over a Spring game then you'd still be on the team

I heard some talk last week that Kelly may be on the sideline at FSU this weekend??? Is that true? I'm sorry but that doesn't seem ethical, being that he knows this offense, hand signals etc. That's just low and if jimbo does that then he is low class. I'm hoping , if this is the case, that Chad is smart enough to know to change a few major signals at least. If jimbo is considering him as a recruit, he needs to ask himself this: If this kid will screw over clemson like that by helping fsu, he would do the same to fsu if given the chance. I wouldn't touch a toxic kid like that. Hopefully none of that transpires and he isn't that type of kid. I'm actually excited to hear he is getting a chance somewhere.

they would allow him on the sidelines during the game. All of our recruits sit in the stands...afaik.

Swinney had to treat him differently than others. It was Kelly's fault, because he was the one that would not follow the rules.. thus making him "different".
Grow up CK, I hope you can. It doesn't seem like your parents taught you how to become a man.

players to read about, CJ and Sammy. Kelly's comments are going to fall on deaf ears. Nice try Kelly, you would have been served well to have tried to follow the example of these two.

He blames his misfortune on throwing to the wrong receiver instead of him running his mouth to the coaches.
He was treated differently because he acted differently than most of the other players.
If you want someone to treat you a certain way, your actions can certainly provide you the outcome, good or bad.

Tried to give him the benefit of the doubt even after the dumba$$ stuff he was saying and what some students were telling me he was doing and behaving like. Thought he would finally "get it". He is out of the same mold as Winston and Winston proved it by saying that he went to dinner with swag when he was up here playing baseball
