Change needed to the student ticket distribution policy.

I don't know exactly what the answer is but take a look at the attached image. Look at section AA, to the left of the Hill. Half empty, and it's a close game (Meeks just got the pick 6) and it's no where close to being over, plus every other section is jam packed!
Maybe the policy should be first come first serve, or ditch the group organization (block seating) method. Maybe have penalties for people who don't show up for the games. That's possible to do because the tickets are scanned.
Stop putting students who show up, are loud, and stay the whole game in the upper deck! Something has to be done, bottom line it's embarrassing.

Student sections have been like that since I've been coming to Clemson games, and they were like that all through my time at CU. Give it a rest.

No, I don't think I will. Because it's a serious issue.

Go to the SEC policy. First come first serve. Students are

there 2 hours early and loud from the start.
Also, do not allow pass outs. Our crowd is laughable in the 3rd quarter.

That's the section where all the frat goons sit. They show up late, wear neutral colors (But at least they have their bow ties, thank God), and leave at halftime. Get em outta there!

rotate our block just like frats. I would notice people from our group absent just like people from frats.
It's a problem that's associated with all students. Tailgating has become more important than the game.

I mean the term "student group" is broad so I don't really know what you are referring to. All I know is that after 4 years on the hill I have seen the students show up and get loud while the fraternities are more interested in leaving at halftime to drink more or not even leaving the tailgate in the first place

Where I really hate to see the student area empty, I also hate that it gets blamed on the fraternities. My son is in a frat that gets block seating and they rotate game to game to where they sit. My son and a good many of his frat brothers are at games early and stay til the end ~ they are all in, all the time so why take away their seats? Also, the can loose their block if they don't show up.

I understand that not all of the fraternities are the cause, but they take the blame for a reason

I agree...students need to be where they can be seen & heard

That is, if they arrive prior to kickoff and stay the entire game. I don't agree with the block seating being the prime seating. If these frats want to keep the seating, be relevant during the entire game!
I think at least the top part of that section in question is handicapped seating. I could be wrong, but I know it is in the area.

I've only seen fraternities in that section this year. Their choice of clothing tells all. Most of them don't even wear orange. Throw them in the upper deck if they want to be late, leave early, and not return. If you're referring to Central Spirit they've been sitting in section A and have been there well before kickoff.

I'm not saying all of them are like that, but those who are outnumber those who aren't. I don't have anything against fraternities, I actually have many friends in them. It just bothers me that I along with many others have to camp out to get good seats in the lower deck. While all they have to do is pick their tickets up, and many of them take for granted how lucky they are to have those seats.

You can get tickets through SO MANY GROUPS. Any of the

Christian organizations... FCA, BCM, Wesley, RUF, etc have block seating.
Clubs like Sailing club, rugby club, heck probably a chess club.
There's no reason to have to camp out. Just join an organization and you get block seats. These groups rotate sections just like fraternities.
