I did not understand why, when your #9 hitter gets a hit

and is on first, that you have him stealing with the top of the order coming up. He gets thrown out, and Eli then gets a walk. It just seems like we give away way too many outs.

Will you please make up your mind which handle you would like to use? Making posts with several of your usernames everyday is retarded. Your act is getting ridiculous, even for a dumb coot like yourself.

It was a hit and run call but white didn't make contact. Wasn't a straight steal sign

Give it up. TNetters aren't interested in what really happened as they understand nothing about the nuances of baseball. It's black and white for them - kinda like a dog. They only see "Runner thrown out. Jack bad". They are incapable of critical thought process - only criticizing thought process.
Again, give it up. On this board, you are dealing with folks who are two bricks short of a load. It's not their fault. They were raised poorly.

has to be sure he goes to the plate before he breaks, or else we get to hear about another pick off. So we get a late break from first, a swing and a miss, and a runner thrown out.

I had the same question-- the answer is horrible coaching. This team did not belong in the WS, too many holes and as hard as it is for many on this site to swallow, we just we good enough and poorly coached to boot.

Actually, for that particular play it wasn't horrible coaching. It was bad execution by White. It was an obvious hit & run call by Leggett and White has to make contact but he whiffed leaving Cox out to dry. Jack has made some pretty ridiculous calls this season and I'm sure most of you look for any situations like that to jump on but that wasn't Jack's fault, white didn't execute the call
