Wal-Mart trip and a quick stop at Academy

Feel like I’ve been hit by a pickup truck. Guess whatever we picked up over the weekend is still doing it’s business. So tired. Not cooking a dammmnn thing tonight, that’s for sure. Wonder if beer will help.

Here in 2021 if you’re feeling flu-like, best thing to do is hit big box stores.

I was giving you full manly credit for not applying the term “hit by a truck” to anything less than flu-like symptoms.

Wife has congested head as well. If it doesn’t improve may do a covid test tomorrow, but so far the symptoms don’t really fit.

Feel like you have a sinus infection? or a cold? sore throat

runny nose and/or congestion? that's that new COVID for you. Seriously, I asked my doctor and my kid's doctors for the symptoms to look out for, and they both said that it presents more like a cold. the cough and loss of taste and smell don't always come or at least not right away. Plus, my kid's OT who's vaccinated said she tested positive after having a sore throat and headache. She said she would have brushed it off if one of her friends not tested positive right before her. that person (also vax'd) thought she had a sinus infection.
Obviously, check with your doctor and stuff, but I think the different symptoms are definitely helping move this thing along. Folks assume it's something else and brush it off.

symptoms are improving instead of going the other way (fevers have broken in less than 24 hrs) but if it sustains or gets worse somehow we will get tested.

My son almost AlWAYS gets some sinus crud this time of year. Last year, he spiked a fever, had a swollen glands, and was super snotty. Ended up being an upper respiratory infection. This year, the sneezing, congestion...some minor coughing, but it didn't progress much past that...so I hope that was the end of that.
