big. Friend of mine worked in Seneca, and he would take them to customers there. I'd meet him there every Friday night and he'd turn the tickets in with a bag full of money, and we'd drink beer and hang out. After doing this for several years (they knew us well), we went in one Friday night like always, he slid the bag across the bar and they looked at us and said "What the #### is that?". He said, "You know what it is". The guy angrily replied "I don't know what it is, and I don't want it". We got the hell out and never went back.
NOTE: That was in the 80s or early 90s, before it became a swingers bar (as far as I know, LOL!).

Things got hot for him there and he moved to the Zorba. Good friend used to do a lot of book biz with him.

who always worked the bar, but can't remember anything about him. Many brain cells ago. I know they'd get popped every now and then, and we'd wait a few weeks and it was business as usual, but that was the only time we got the cold treatment like that. Usually they'd just say "we don't have any" when we'd ask for cards, and we knew what that meant.
Now you got me wanting a steak sammich from Zorba!
