Looks like he plays around here a good bit. There are a couple of concerts within a few hours of here over the next month, but the closest one is the same night as The Fabulous Thunderbirds are playing here: http://www.chicagoevents.com/event.cfm?eid=179.

Where Chris Stapleton expertly mixes Jazz and Blues in with his Honky Tonk style, Whitey Morgan is pretty much strait Honky Tonk. From the to tapping to the down and sorrowful. If you have seen The Blues Brothers, he is what they crowd was expecting when the boys had to keep playing Rawhide.

Decoration Day and Outfit are very familiar from catching up on the DBT. It was confusing at first because I didn't realize there were 2 (3?) lead vocalists on those 2000s albums. Dude who does "Loaded Gun in the Closet" and "Pin Hits the Shell" is good, too. I've got several on Amazon Prime that I just listen to on shuffle so it's hard to tell what's what.
