me of reading Chicken Little as a child. This constant complaining is starting to wear thin. I understand questioning things that we don't have control over, but constantly beating a dead horse won't make him run faster.

Except that isn’t true. Fanbase anger reaching critical mass often instigates change. And Neff’s unwillingness to be proactive has forced the issue.

I’m not sure your point. There hasn’t really been palpable anger towards Brownell. And I think most fans let him off the hook last year on the presumption it was a make or break year. Neff betrayed that with the whole “we should be in the tourney thing”. I don’t think the AD is checking TNet to gauge when to make a firing. But TNet is a reflection of the fanbase at large. Critique on here reached critical mass for Tommy Bowden and Jack Leggett as publicly expressed sentiment began to sour. And there is some parallel to the Bowden extension and Brownell vote of confidence. A very large contingent of fans had seen more than enough of Tommy Bowden and, while willing to see how things played out one more season, they were outraged at the extension. The same could be said of Brownell as there are plenty who feel Neff pulled a bait and switch. As this season goes down the tubes expect things to get openly hostile.

Sorry, I do not really follow basketball at all. I thought I was on the football page. My bad.

I have had to pull back many times over the years. Even thought of cancelling my donation. But remember there's some awesome people here overall.

I have made a point of meeting in person. And was in no way disappointed. Still regret not taking advantage of Joe21’s suggestion that we meet sometime when he was visiting his daughter in Greenwood

But why would we keep a dead horse as a head coach?***
