Clemson was never after Anderson. I know for a FACT from someone VERY close to the situation that it was clear cut tampering between South Carolina and Anderson. They gave him $100,000 to leave NB and I know this for an absolute fact.

He had no Division 1 offers so he signed with a Division II Truman State, and then walked-on at Missouri where he was 6th of 7th on the depth chart. He's now the teams top RB and an All American candidate.
It's a great story and just like Hunter Renfrow, these Rudy-type stories are the exception far more often than the norm.
