Anyone ever hear ESPN use the phrase "missed SEC tackle"?

Dec 8, 2012, 12:56 PM

You hear them say "SEC run by an SEC running back with SEC speed in the SEC grind on a gorgeous SEC sunshiny day". But there is never a mention that he ran over five missed SEC tacklers.
Everyone at Grunion's Bar is getting tired of this out here in Los Angeles. They thought it was a "Southern" thing until I shed some additional light on the situation.

Nah. It's just an SEC RB/WR/QB making an SEC play.

Duh.

Someone needs to beat them in the BCS

Because when it counts, they've been running over 5 missed ACC/B1G/B12/etc. tacklers.

or "SEC academics" either.
