If you ever been around soccer players, male or female, you know they party the craziest and try the craziest things. My sister played soccer before high school, she gave it up once she got to high school. But she still hung out with her friends from her soccer days, and I had people ask me all the time if my sister was a pothead. Of course she wasn't, but I was constantly asked that cause all of her soccer friends were potheads and binge drinkers, and on the wild side.

I would love to know why she remained a student at Clemson and made dean's list every semester while majoring in bioengineering with permanent brain injuries.

do you think we should not talk about it and pretend it didn't happen? this is a sports situation that happened at Clemson and is serious. it involves our students, athletes, trainers, coaches and administrators. why are you concerned about how many posts there are about it? don't read them if you don't like them! to pretend a problem does not exist will NOT make it go away or give all concerned a do over. learn to be a realist and take the good AND bad about our university. correcting the bad will only make it stronger.

if the poster had any connection to the situation.
I've not seen anyone act like this isn't a big deal. The only official thing I've seen is that the University saying they dispute the charges. The only thing I've seen on the board is people saying this is bad and speculating on the validity of the charges and what they could do to "prove" anything.
Right now, these are simply allegations. If true, then heads will roll. If not true, well...I think we should just wait on some facts first.
We won't try this case on T-net.

sounds like enough people involved that it should. If true, coach should be banded from working with young people again.
