And it's showing big time now especially with the replacements not being as gifted, learned or tenured.
Will Coach acknowledge this fact and rectify it with changes, demotions, firings or hirings..
and will he finally address the need of better Olinemen fast and go to portal?
We will see~

We are not nearly as good at developing, coaching, or game planning as we used to be though.

I don’t think anyone wanted to get rid of Elliott and promote his QB coach. The idea was to rid ourselves of that vanilla bean playbook and hire someone more qualified. As it stands we have the same playbook with less qualified football IQ trying to execute it

And Caldwell. We expected better results with the guys that learned under them. That’s crazy.
Wes decided he needs to put his stamp on the defense instead of sticking with what Brent did. He’s implemented this ridiculous 3man front when the strength of our team is the Dline.
Lots of changes need to happen. If not new staff, then Dabo must demand the current staff present him with their new plan prespring practice.

You can forget TE, and BV ,but if you bring back JS it would be a start. However ,if you keep BS
then what you will get next year is the same BS you got this year.
As to the portal if you don't bring back JS, you might as well install some portable Johns outside of Dabo's office for those players who need a BM.

If Dabo doesn’t show he is willing to make serious, fundamental changes in this staff, then those in power must be looking at other options for head coach. Sorry, but that has to be on the table at this point. This is not a lifetime contract.

I understand your point, but I am not sure that there is a way to tell Dabo that there is a limit to the good graces that he has earned without saying "I know better than you." There is no way that it can be more than a bluff for several more years, so what do you do if he calls it? He is stubborn enough to say I'll look for another job if you do not think that I am doing a well enough, and there would be plenty of takers. Yes, Dabo needs to adapt to changes in the college game, but all we can do is hope that he figures it out on his own.

Plenty of takers? Is this the same crowd that thought DJU would have plenty of takers too and he ended up in Oregon St at the last call? Dabo caught lightning in a bottle with Brent Venables, Tony Elliot/Jeff Scott duo and I think it’s apparent now to everyone with a brain.
Either he needs to be on the hunt for the equivalent of that football IQ in his staff or this program will be mid tier. He won’t let go and he prefers to micromanage yes men so I think the outcome is written on the wall but seen only by the wise
